Lost Transport

Synopsis

Set in the spring of 1945, where a train carrying Jewish prisoners from Bergen-Belsen is abandoned near a German village occupied by the Red Army. The village quickly becomes a chaotic refugee camp, and a quarantine is enforced due to a typhus outbreak on the train. The film centers on the unlikely friendship that develops between a Russian sniper, Vera; a German village girl, Winnie; and a Dutch Jew, Simone, as they navigate the dangers and mistrust of their situation to survive.
